Let me start by saying that I am obsessed with everything Joss Whedon... But that's not what this is about, it's only how it started... Let me also say I am not a comic book person... have never been to a comic Con... But I am a big reader of things scary and goosepimply... Stephen King, Neil Gaimen, Clive Barker, Ray Bradbury, Etc...
So of course when I heard Joss was doing Season 8 of Buffy as a comic book series I was first in line at my local shop... Then came Angel Season 6... Then came the second Dark Tower comic book series... so now I'm at my local comic shop twice a month buying the latest issues... As of 2008 apparently I'm a comic book person =)
So they tell me that Stephen King's son, Joe Hill, has a comic coming out called Locke & Key... Since I read his first book "Heart Shaped Box" I decide to give it a try... I am so glad I did!
I can't believe what an interesting and unique and well told story this is... I would try and explain the plot but I couldn't do it justice... it's got a very supernatural vibe to it, the art is terrific, and the story is just spectacular!
It's so good Dimension Films has already bought the rights to turn it into a movie!
If you like a good supernatural thriller go get this comic book - You Will Not Be Disappointed!
